Our Vision


UWF is all about turning faith, hope, and love into action around the world for women, youth, and children. Our purpose is for fellowship, missions, and education about social issues. Our UWF at First Church emphasize local missions and also shares in our Uwharrie District larger missional efforts.

Membership is open to any woman who indicates her desire to belong and to participate in the global mission of the church through United Women in Faith.


The United Women in Faith at First UMC, Asheboro have two active circles which meet for fellowship, programs, local missions and mission study.


Circles meet during the school year – September – June.


  • Circle 4: Meets every 2nd Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.


  • Circle 5: Meets every 1st Monday at 2:00 p.m.


All women are invited to attend General Meetings scheduled throughout the year.
